Why This Watch Stands Out
The Cartier Santos de Cartier WSSA0039 is one of the most distinctive modern interpretations of the iconic Santos design. Its black ADLC-coated steel case and matching black dial give the watch a contemporary, sportier character while retaining the signature Roman numerals, exposed screws, and geometric case design that have made the Santos instantly recognizable.
The large case measures approximately 39.8mm wide and offers substantial wrist presence without feeling oversized. Inside is Cartier’s automatic Calibre 1847 MC, paired with a date display at 6 o’clock. One of the standout features of the modern Santos is Cartier’s QuickSwitch strap system, allowing the wearer to easily change straps without conventional spring-bar tools. This example is currently fitted to the black rubber strap and also includes an additional leather strap that has never been worn, giving the watch two very different looks.

Condition
This watch is in like-new condition and presents exceptionally well, showing virtually no signs of wear. The case, bezel, crystal, dial, crown, rubber strap, clasp, and overall presentation are extremely clean. The additional leather strap has never been worn.
